Our IP quality and speed filter is a mechanism that checks for the quality and speed of the IP address using our proprietary quality and speed assurance algorithm before assigning it to you from our IP pool.
This does decrease the available IP pool. However, because dynamic residential IP addresses can also be used by other real internet users, websites have little incentive to permanently block such IPs, as they are risking blocking normal users as well. In such cases, IP quality plays a more important role than IP diversity.
Recommended Use Cases
The IP quality and speed filters is particularly beneficial for users managing social media accounts, including but not limited to:
Facebook
Google
Amazon
eBay
Ticketmaster
etc.
For scraping purposes, while the IP quality and speed filters can be useful, they have diminishing returns in terms of success rates.
IP Filter Modes
The IP quality filter currently has four modes:
Quality (default)
Quality + Speed
Speed
Max pool size
Each mode dictates the type of IP addresses that get assigned to the proxy. Here are our recommendations:
Quality: Recommended for managing social media accounts.
Quality + Speed: Recommended for Affiliate Marketing, Social Media Management and Developers
Speed: Recommended for smooth and uninterrupted browsing
Max pool size: Recommended for high-scale operations like data scraping.
How to customize the IP filter strength
You can increase or lower the strength of the IP filter by setting it in the proxy username.
High IP Mode is recommended for websites with advanced detection mechanisms. This mode is especially advised for users who experience frequent restrictions and low success rates
Filter Mode | Proxy Username |
No filter enabled |

Low filter mode |

Medium filter mode |

High filter mode |

The IP quality filter can also be enabled in the Proxy Setup section. It will automatically generate a proxy list with Medium filter mode.
