Location targeting narrows your proxy beyond country, region and city. You get two modes and you pick one. Find it under Advanced settings, on the Location targeting toggle. “ISP” here means the carrier that owns the IP address - Spectrum, Verizon, and so on. It has nothing to do with our ISP proxy product. Different thing, same three letters. This applies to Residential and Mobile proxies.

The two modes

Switching the toggle changes the dropdown below it. You can use one or the other, not both. Both dropdowns show an availability badge, the same High and Medium labels used for countries and regions. ISP mode

Choose a country first, then a carrier. The dropdown lists the carriers we have inventory for in that country. ISP works alongside region and city. Narrow as far as you like, then pick a carrier on top:
Useful when a service treats traffic differently depending on which network it comes from.

ZIP mode

ZIP targeting is United States only. Choose United States, then enter a ZIP code.
ZIP replaces region and city. Even if a region and city are still showing in the Configuration row above, your username will carry only the country and the ZIP. A ZIP already says exactly where you are.

Both narrow your pool

A country gives you a large pool. A country plus a carrier, or a country plus a single postal code, can leave fewer addresses
