ISP proxies authenticate with a username and password. There is no other method. IP whitelisting is not available for ISP proxies. It works for Residential and Mobile only. If you need whitelisting, see IP Whitelist setup, which covers those two products.

Where to find your credentials

  1. Click ISP proxies in the left navigation.
  2. You land on Static Residential (ISP). Open the My proxies tab.
  3. Click Details on your order.
Each IP shows four fields: IP, Port, Username, Password. For a walkthrough of where these appear in the dashboard, see Getting started with ISP proxies.

The connection format

ISP proxies do not use a gateway hostname. The host is the IP address itself.
A four-IP order looks like this:
Every IP in an order shares the same port, username and password. Only the IP address changes. The addresses themselves are assigned randomly and are not sequential.

The port is assigned at purchase

Your port is set when you buy and stays with the order. In the example above every IP uses port 11000. Always use the port shown in your proxy string. You do not choose it, and it does not change when you swap IPs - a swap returns new IPs from the same country on the same port.

Copying credentials out

On the Details panel:
  • Table view shows the four fields in columns.
  • List view formats each IP as a ready-to-paste string.
  • Export downloads the whole order as .csv, .txt or .xlsx.

Your proxy password is not your account password

The username and password on the Details panel are proxy credentials. They are generated for the order and are separate from the email and password you use to sign in to NodeMaven. Signing-in details will not authenticate a proxy.

What ISP authentication does not include

If you think your ISP credentials have been exposed, contact support and we will advise on the options for your order.
