The account endpoints answer two practical questions: can this account send traffic right now, and how much traffic is left. They are the checks to run before a job starts and while it is running. All requests go to https://api.nodemaven.com/api/v2/base/ and carry the header Authorization: x-api-key YOUR_API_KEY. See the NodeMaven API overview for the shared basics.

Checking the balance

Use GET /account/ when you want the broader “am I in a state to send traffic” answer, and GET /account/balance/ when all you need is the remaining traffic figure.

  • Unused traffic covers what happens to traffic you have not spent.
