Choose your SDK
Choose the language your application already uses. The three libraries cover the same core tasks, with methods and error handling suited to each language. Additional HTTP clients and browser drivers may have their own runtime requirements.
What the SDKs help with
- Build proxy settings. Set a country, region, city, carrier, proxy pool, filter, or session without assembling the username by hand.
- Catch configuration mistakes locally. Unknown parameter names, empty values, and invalid formatting produce an error before you connect.
- Use your existing client. Get a proxy URL, client-specific configuration, or separate browser authentication fields.
- Check a connection. Open an HTTP CONNECT tunnel and read the gateway’s response before starting a larger job.
- Work with the account API. Read traffic and locations, retrieve statistics, and manage supported account resources.
Product coverage
These guides cover the Residential and Mobile proxy gateway. Both usegate.nodemaven.com; type="mobile" selects the mobile pool.
ISP proxies, the Scraping Browser, and the LLM API have separate connection or API workflows. Do not apply the gateway examples to them unchanged.
Some dashboard options are not available through the SDK proxy builder. In the versions covered by these guides, zip and norotate are not accepted parameters. The configuration guide explains the supported options.
Before you start
For proxy requests, you need an active Residential/Mobile plan with available traffic and your Proxy Username and Proxy Password from the dashboard. For account API calls, you need an API key from Profile → API key. This is a separate credential.
The language quickstarts show how to set credentials as environment variables. Keep real credentials out of committed code and shared logs.
Next steps
Start with the Python, Rust, or Go quickstart. Then use the shared guides for your next task:- Configure proxies with the SDKs
- Manage sessions with the SDKs
- Check connections and handle SDK errors
- Use the account API with the SDKs
