# Do you support UDP?

> UDP is supported on ISP proxies (Static Residential). Rotating Residential and Mobile proxies are TCP only.

Yes, UDP is supported on ISP proxies (also called Static Residential). Rotating Residential and Mobile proxies are TCP only.

UDP is the protocol behind traffic such as gaming, VoIP, live streaming and DNS. If your tool needs UDP, ISP proxies are the product to use.

## UDP support by product

| Product | TCP | UDP |
| - | - | - |
| ISP proxies (Static Residential) | Yes | Yes |
| Rotating Residential | Yes | No |
| Mobile | Yes | No |

## Using UDP on an ISP proxy

UDP relates to SOCKS5, so pick SOCKS as the protocol when you buy. Each ISP order is set to either HTTP or SOCKS at purchase.

An ISP proxy connects to the IP itself, not to `gate.nodemaven.com`. The format is `IP:Port:Username:Password`.

## Where to get ISP proxies

Buy ISP proxies from the **[ISP proxies](https://dashboard.nodemaven.com/isp-proxies)** page in the dashboard. Pricing is per IP, and traffic on each IP is unlimited.
