# Available Locations [ISP]

> ISP proxies are available in 9 countries, with country-level targeting only.

ISP proxies are available in **9 countries**:

## Country-level targeting only

**You choose a country. You cannot choose a region, city, ZIP code or carrier.** ISP proxies offer no targeting below country level.

If you need finer targeting, or a country that is not on the list above, use Residential proxies instead - they cover approximately 190 countries with region, city, ZIP and carrier filters. See [Available locations](/residential-mobile/locations).

## Why Check proxy shows a city

**Check proxy** resolves each IP down to a city, so you will see something like "New York, New York City" on your order.

That is where the IP resolves. It is not something you selected, and it is not a setting you can change. Every ISP order is placed at country level.

## The list changes

The country list is updated from time to time as new inventory comes online.

**We cannot add a country on request.** If a country is not on the list, it is not available for ISP, and Residential is the route to it.
