# Proxy for Turn2Tap

> Connect a NodeMaven SOCKS5 proxy in Turn2Tap using the gateway IP address.

This guide shows how to use a NodeMaven proxy in Turn2Tap.

## Set up Turn2Tap

  <Step title="Choose your setup in the dashboard">
    To begin using a NodeMaven proxy with Turn2Tap, open your dashboard and pick the setup and location you want. This example uses:

    * Mobile proxy
    * Germany
    * [Sticky session](/residential-mobile/sticky-sessions)
    * SOCKS5

  <Step title="Copy your proxy details">
    Copy the details you need: the username, password, and port.

  <Step title="Open the app">
    Open the Turn2Tap app.

  <Step title="Fill in the fields">
    Fill the fields with the information you just copied.

    <Warning>
      Turn2Tap does not support domains as the host, so you need to use an IP address rather than `gate.nodemaven.com`.
    </Warning>

    **Host:** `135.148.137.186:1080` or `15.204.212.81:1080`

    **Username:** the one you copied from your dashboard. A mobile sticky-session username looks like this:

    ```text theme={null}
    USERNAME-country-de-region-north_rhine_westphalia-type-mobile-sid-abc123def4567-filter-medium
    ```

    **Password:** also the one you copied from your dashboard:

    ```text theme={null}
    PASSWORD
    ```

  <Step title="Connect and test">
    Click connect, then test the proxy with your preferred proxy checker, or follow [Test your proxies](/quickstart/test-your-proxies).
