# Proxy for Turn2Socks

> Paste your NodeMaven proxy details into Turn2Socks and connect.

This guide shows how to use a NodeMaven proxy in Turn2Socks.

## Set up Turn2Socks

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose your setup in the dashboard">
    To start using a NodeMaven proxy in Turn2Socks, go to your dashboard and select your preferred setup and location. This example uses:

    * Mobile proxy
    * USA
    * [Sticky session](/residential-mobile/sticky-sessions)
    * SOCKS5

  <Step title="Copy your proxy details">
    Copy the username, password, host, and port. See [Understanding your proxy string](/residential-mobile/proxy-string) for what each part means.

  <Step title="Open the app">
    Open the Turn2Socks app.

  <Step title="Paste the details and connect">
    Paste the information you copied into the corresponding fields and tap **Start Connect**.

  <Step title="Test the proxy">
    Your proxy is now set up and ready to use. Test the proxy with your preferred proxy checker to confirm everything is working correctly, or follow [Test your proxies](/quickstart/test-your-proxies).
