# Proxy for MasQ Browser

> Set up NodeMaven proxies in a MasQ Browser profile.

The steps below show how to set up a NodeMaven proxy in MasQ Browser.

## Set up a NodeMaven proxy in MasQ Browser

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open MasQ Browser and create a profile">
    After opening MasQ Browser, go to **Profiles** in the left menu, then click **Profiles** again on the right side.

  <Step title="Click Create Profile">
    On the next screen, you can either configure the browser settings manually or click **Generate** to create the configuration automatically.

  <Step title="Set up the proxy">
    On the final setup screen, select **Proxy** and enter your details.

    1. **Proxy Type**: select the same option you chose in your dashboard (HTTP or SOCKS5).
    2. **Host and Port**:
       * For HTTP: `gate.nodemaven.com:8080`
       * For SOCKS5: `gate.nodemaven.com:1080`

    You can use any port in the following ranges:

    | Protocol | Port range |
    | - | - |
    | HTTP | `8080` up to `9080` |
    | SOCKS5 | `1080` up to `2080` |

    3. **Username**: paste the username copied from your dashboard.
    4. **Password**: paste the password copied from your dashboard.
    5. Click **Check Proxy**. You should see a Success pop-up.
    6. Click **Save**.
    7. Click **create**.

  <Step title="Start your browser">
    Click the **Play** button to launch the browser. Setup is now complete and you are ready to start using it.
