# ixBrowser

> Set up NodeMaven proxies in an ixBrowser profile.

ixBrowser is a secure anti-detect browser suited to managing multiple accounts while protecting user privacy and data.

You can download ixBrowser from the [official ixBrowser site](https://ixbrowser.com/en).

## Set up a NodeMaven proxy in ixBrowser

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a new profile">
    Open ixBrowser and go to the **Profile List** section, then click the **Create Profile** button.

  <Step title="Select the platform and name the profile">
    In the **Platform Account Configuration** section, select **Blank Page** or choose another option from the dropdown menu.

    * Name your profile in the **Profile Name** field.
    * In the **Select Group** field, choose a group you created previously, or select the Default option.
    * Go to the **Proxy Configuration** section by clicking the **Next Step** button or the Proxy Configuration tab.

  <Step title="Choose the protocol">
    From the **Proxy Type** dropdown menu, select the protocol you need. NodeMaven currently supports HTTP and SOCKS 5.

  <Step title="Enter your NodeMaven credentials">
    Fill in your NodeMaven proxy credentials in the format ixBrowser accepts: `host:port:login:password`.

    <Note>
      You do not need to manually type the proxy details (host, port, username, password) into ixBrowser settings. You can just paste the NodeMaven proxy string in the Proxy Host field, because NodeMaven proxies are arranged in the `host:port:login:password` format that ixBrowser accepts.

  <Step title="Check the proxy">
    Click the **Proxy Detection** button. The result is displayed below as **Proxy IP** and **Region**.

  <Step title="Create the profile">
    After the previous step succeeds, click the **Create** button on the lower right side of your window. Your profile is then complete and ready to use.

    To open your profile, click the **Open** button.
