# Happ - Proxy Utility (Android and iOS)

> Connect a NodeMaven SOCKS5 proxy in the Happ proxy utility on Android and iOS.

Happ is a mobile app that makes it easy to use proxy and VPN servers by offering a user-friendly interface and useful features.

## Install and set up Happ

<Steps>
  <Step title="Install the app">
    Download and install the Happ app from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/ao/app/happ-proxy-utility/id6504287215) or [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.happproxy).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate a proxy">
    Generate a proxy on the [Proxy Setup](https://dashboard.nodemaven.com/proxy/default) page, selecting the SOCKS5 protocol.

  <Step title="Add the proxy manually">
    To add a proxy in Happ, tap the **+** button, then **Manual input**.

  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your proxy details">
    Change the protocol to SOCKS and paste your proxy's details into the app:

    * In the **Server address** field, enter the host.
    * In the **Port** field, enter your proxy port. For SOCKS5, that is `1080`.
    * Enter your **Username (User)** and **Password**.

    Once done, tap **Done** to save.

  <Step title="Connect">
    Tap the power button to connect to the proxy. Your proxy is now active.
