## Which product do you need?

NodeMaven provides three proxy products: Rotating Residential, Mobile, and ISP. Residential and Mobile share one traffic balance and one set of endpoints.

ISP proxies are bought per IP with unlimited traffic and work differently, so they have their own section.

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Rotating Residential" icon="house" href="/quickstart/residential-proxies">
    Real IPs assigned by internet service providers to home users. The default choice for scraping, price monitoring, and geo-restricted access. Billed by traffic.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Mobile" icon="mobile" href="/quickstart/mobile-proxies">
    IPs from real 4G, 5G, and LTE mobile carriers. Use these where mobile carrier IPs are treated more favourably, such as social platforms. Billed from the same traffic balance as Residential.
  </Card>

  <Card title="ISP" icon="server" href="/isp/overview">
    Static residential IPs that stay the same for the life of the subscription. Billed per IP with unlimited traffic. Suited to long-running sessions and logged-in accounts.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

Residential and Mobile are included in every plan, including the Trial Plan. There is no separate Mobile plan and no separate Mobile traffic balance. One balance covers both products in any proportion.

## Coverage

Residential and Mobile proxies cover 190+ countries, with city, ZIP code, and ISP targeting available in most of them. ISP proxies are available in a smaller, fixed list of countries.

For the full country list and the targeting syntax, see [Available locations](/residential-mobile/locations) for Residential and Mobile, or [Available Locations for ISP](/isp/locations).

## Protocols

Every NodeMaven proxy uses either **HTTP** or **SOCKS5**.

| Product | HTTP | SOCKS5 | UDP |
| - | - | - | - |
| Rotating Residential | Yes | Yes | No |
| Mobile | Yes | Yes | No |
| ISP | Yes | Yes | Yes, over SOCKS5 |

## Traffic rollover

Unused traffic on a monthly plan is not lost at the end of the billing cycle. It carries forward in most cases, but the rules differ depending on what you do next.

| What you do | What happens to unused traffic |
| - | - |
| Renew on the same plan | Carries forward |
| Upgrade to a larger plan | Transfers to the new plan |
| Downgrade to a smaller plan | Transfers, with no penalty |
| Let the subscription lapse | Freezes, and returns when you renew |

<Warning>
  Cancelling a subscription and switching to Pay-as-you-go does not carry the remaining balance across. See [How do monthly subscriptions work?](/billing/monthly-subscriptions) before changing plans.
</Warning>
