# Does the referral link work for the trial package?

> No. Referral bonuses apply to Pay-as-you-go and monthly packages, not to the Trial Plan.

No. A referral link does not pay out on the Trial Plan. Trials are excluded from the referral program.

The referral bonus applies to **Pay-as-you-go** and **Billed Monthly** packages. When someone you referred makes their first purchase on one of those, both of you receive **50% bonus traffic** on that purchase.

So share your link with someone who intends to buy a Pay-as-you-go or monthly package. A trial purchase earns no bonus for either side.

For the full rules, see [Referral program](/billing/referral-program). For what the trial includes, see [Free trial](/billing/free-trial).
