# Can I pay crypto with a Smart Contract?

> Smart contract transfers are not supported for crypto payments. Use a standard wallet transfer.

No. Smart contracts are not supported for crypto payments. Our crypto payment processor can only process standard wallet transfers, so a payment sent from a smart contract is not credited to your account automatically.

Use an ordinary wallet transfer for every crypto payment. That is the only method that credits automatically. Avoid anything that moves funds through a contract, such as a contract-based withdrawal flow or an automated transfer script.

## If you already sent from a smart contract

The funds are not lost, but they cannot be credited automatically. Recovering them is a manual process and it carries a fee, which is deducted from the amount you sent. Small payments may not be recoverable at all. If the amount you sent is less than the retrieval fee, there is nothing left to credit.

Contact support with your transaction hash and we will tell you what is possible for your payment. For the methods we do accept, see [Payment methods](/billing/payment-methods).
