# I just created an account, why can't I generate any proxies?

> Generating proxies requires an active paid plan. A new account with no plan cannot generate proxies yet.

A new account cannot generate proxies until you choose and pay for a plan. Proxy credentials are only created once a plan is active on your account.

The \$3.50 trial plan gives you 750 MB and is the cheapest way to start. It is limited to one per account and coupons do not apply to it. See [Free trial](/billing/free-trial).
