Getting started

Currently, our Residential Proxies support HTTP and Socks5 protocol. The basic format of the proxies are the following:

HTTP Protocol

• Host:

• Port: 8080

• Username: ProxyUser-country-ProxyCountry-region-ProxyRegion-city-ProxyCity-sid-ProxySessionID-filter-ProxyIPQualityFilter

• Password: Password

Socks5 Protocol

• Host:

• Port: 1080

• Username: ProxyUser-country-ProxyCountry-region-ProxyRegion-city-ProxyCity-sid-ProxySessionID-filter-ProxyIPQualityFilter

• Password: Password

Let’s break it down for you:

  • ProxyUserProxyUser and Password are your identification. This is how the proxy knows you are the one connecting. Keep this information safe!
  • The Username, when configuring the proxy, controls location, session duration, and IP quality filter settings.
    • ProxyCountry, ProxyRegion, and ProxyCity are the targeting location settings where you want the proxy to be.
    • ProxySessionID is a unique session ID. If you want every profile to have an individual address, you must have a unique string for every profile. It contains numbers and letters, character length: min. 4, max. 10.
    • ProxyIPQualityFilter is a mechanism that checks for the quality of the IP address. Check out the IP quality filter article to see how it works.

Proxy setup

1. Find your ProxyUser and Password in the dashboard → Proxy Setup section.

2. Choose a targeting location or leave 'Random' for a random proxy location. Note: Selecting a location updates your username in the proxy list.

3. Leave 'Keep IP as long as possible', customize your session duration up to 24 hours or select 'Rotating' to get a new IP per request. Note: Depending on the selected session type your username in the proxy list will be updated.

4. Afterwards, select your Output format, and choose if you want to use HTTP or Socks5 protocol. Leave enabled or disable the IP quality filter based on your needs.

5. Based on your proxy settings the proxy list will be generated. You can set a required number of proxies, and then export the proxy list in CSV/TXT format or just copy it to the clipboard.

You can apply the proxy list to any software to start using proxies. Check out our integration guides with the most popular tools such as Multilogin, Chrome, or Firefox.

Below is an example in cURL with a targeting location United States, random region and city, session type 'Keep IP as long as possible', and enabled IP quality filter. Replace PROXYUSER and PASSWORD with your proxy user credentials
